The weekend of our annual Free to Create Art Show was full of art, music, food and fun! Thank you to all of our amazing young artists, we appreciate your work, creativity, imagination and enthusiasm. Every participant is to be celebrated and congratulated. Our event organizing committee and army of volunteers deserve a round of applause! Our upstairs gallery showcasing ten local artists was a bonus and we thank the artists for bringing their art to the community. Until next year - that’s a wrap!

Age 18 Marissa wins a $50 cash prize. Her artwork was chosen for purchase by Mayor Cook and will become part of the permanent collection of the Municipality of Lambton Shores. It will hang in the municipality's administration building. Marissa will also be welcomed into our upstairs gallery for adult local artists during next year's Free to Create, with her submission fees waived as part of her award. Youth Art Gallery
We were very pleased to have young musicians 12 year old Ana Constantin (keyboard & vocals) and 17 year old Maggie Moran - Levack (guitar & vocals) provide beautiful atmosphere with their musical talents! Watch out for these two, they are 'up and coming' successes!

Local Artists Gallery
Once again our Optimist Hall upstairs hosted a display of work by ten local artists, running concurrently with the youth show. It included Myah Quinn who was last year's winner in the youth exhibition. We now regard this as a permanent feature of Free to Create going forward, so if you are a local artist wanting an opportunity to display your work in a gallery setting, please reach out to us and we will welcome your involvement! We are looking for more artists - we know you're out there. . .
