Maxine has sent me these pictures of the "duffers" who participated in the "Pt. Franks Seniors & Ausable-Pt. Franks Optimists" golf scramble on Thursday, August 29th. As always, it was a fun day and we hope it can be an annual event. From Maxine: "This is Hayden who helped us out at our golf tournament at Widder Station, along with our avid players. It was a beautiful day to be outside on the course. Four teams made it all happen. The Minielly team and Fickling team tied (Maxine originally sent "lied" but I'm sure that was not the case!) for first place. Linda Breault won the Micker award." Click on the images to expand:

Before our Cornfest event this past weekend we were happy to induct new member Pamela Opersko. Welcome to Optimism with a capital O Pamela! She started her journey helping out at Cornfest, already hitting the ground running. In July she helped out at the Fishing Derby while her husband and kids went fishing.
