Raquel Murray Fundraiser

In our community nobody fights alone - we will always have each other's back! This community came out in a HUGE way to support one of our own. We are proud to have had our own members conceive the hugely successful fundraiser for Raquel Murray. It all started after an Optimist meeting with 3 people bantering ideas (Linda’s what if/could we/where do we begin) and of course Betty immediately imagining the logistics of feeding hundreds of people - which she did! The emails started, a committee formed, volunteers, Raquel's family and friends, and so many businesses, individuals and organizations jumped on board. Our club's members helped out to support the efforts in any way we could. Thank you to everyone who contributed in any way, big or small, to support Raquel.
