This year's Optimist Winter Camp was one of the best yet! Let’s hear about it from our amazing camp coordinator Kristy Lyon:
We started the day with some games and names, then made flowers and animals with pipe cleaners.
Next Lori helped us write some new years resolutions and goals, and we sealed them up for later.
After a snack we made a big mess making playdoh from scratch with a partner, played with it for a while, and everyone packed theirs up to take home.
After lunch we had special guest Dee paint a beautiful gnome with us! So much colour, fun and creativity! Thanks Dee!
The weather finally cooperated and we were able to spend some time outside and Sherri and John came by with some fun games and activities! Thanks again!
We ended the day with some 4 square, grounders, disk golf, and playing at the park.
Huge thanks to Lori, Denise, Lou, Elias, and Dee for spending the day with us, and to Linda for organizing paperwork!
Thanks to all of the campers for being amazing, well behaved kids!
