This exciting event is taking place at the Optimist Community Centre in Port Franks.
With the theme 'Free To Create' the parameters for entries are truly unlimited.
This will be a fantastic opportunity for kids to display their creativity in a supportive public setting.

There will be cash awards presented in each of the three age categories:
First Place prize of $50
Second Place Prize of $25
and two Third Place Prizes of $10
Also, the First Place winner in the ages 14-18 category will have their winning piece displayed in the Municipality of Lambton Shores' Administrative Building all summer AND be invited to take part as a featured artist in next year's Free to Create adult artist exhibit!

Entries may use any medium (paint, pencils, ink, markers, crayons, pastels, collage - no photography).
Work on traditional canvases is welcome, and we also encourage artists to use whatever materials they choose as a canvas -
Recycle using old pictures and frames to paint over or get really creative and use something like an old mirror, plywood or a hub cap.
Create art using paint, seeds, flowers, paper, wax, sand, shells, fabric or plaster - surprise us! Your work can be hung on the wall or set on a table.

This is open to all youth from 5 to 18. There is no jurying process - every piece will be accepted.
