We're here for youth! Our club is proud to support the students at Bosanquet Central School with financial assistance for two very important and exciting opportunities. The Grade Eight class will be camping at Muskoka Woods for their graduation trip. The Grade 2/3 class completed a project where they created their own donuts! They wrote about them, advertised them and then created them using paper mache. Their creativity needed to be showcased further, so they are now on display at the library in Thedford - be sure to check them out. They have also been invited to visit Global Donuts in Sarnia to show off their donut designs! To help with this trip our club is covering the cost of the bus. Optimists are happy and proud to help these students out with their great endeavours - have fun kids!

The Thedford, Ontario Optimist Club organized Monday night with 34 members. They are being sponsored by the Alvinston and District Optimist Club and the Ausable-Port Franks Optimist Club. Congratulations to the sponsor Clubs, Southwest Ontario District Governor John Ruth and the District team for bringing this new Club into the Optimist family. Congratulations to the newly formed Thedford Optimists! We are thrilled to be a co-sponsor of this new club and can't wait to see all of the great things these Optimists will do.
