We simply must give a huge thanks to everyone who donated treats for our upcoming Halloween Spooky Tour! We were overwhelmed by your generosity. This afternoon a group of volunteers loaded and sealed treat bags which will be stored until the tour on October 31st - guaranteed safe for your child to receive as the contents will not be touched again. For details about the tour, including times and routes CLICK HERE.
Did you know that we are part of the current NUMBER ONE region in Optimist International? Our own Tracy Huxley is the #1 VP!
Our hall is not yet open and we are unable to do our usual Halloween event - but don't worry we've come up with a fun and safe alternative!
On October 31st we will be doing a mini parade complete with spooky music, costumes and candy treats - prepackaged and safe - in the communities of Thedford, Walden subdivision, and Port Franks. More details to follow!
If you would like to donate any candy that you would normally have given out, or would like to help out with the parade, candy distribution, or making up the treat bags ahead of time, please use the contact form in the menu above. We would be happy to hear from you!

All aboard! The Optimist New Year begins on October 1st. This past year has been exceptional in so many ways, and Optimists have risen to the challenges it has presented. We move forward into this New Year bringing lessons we've learned in overcoming these challenges. Happy New Year Optimists!
