Santa Claus Parade 2021

This year's theme at the Forest Santa Claus Parade was 'Superheroes". Our float is captioned 'Every child has a SUPERPOWER' in keeping with our Optimist mandate of bringing out and celebrating the best in our youth.
"The Optimist Club of Ausable Port Franks won first place for best non commercial float and tied for best Theme float. Many thanks to our Optimist volunteers, Lorie Scott, Paul Petersen, Paul Trottier, Janice Cuckovic, Jim Waite, Garrett Pedlar(Chloe) , Tracy Huxley , Ron Huxley, Tony Monte, and Kristy Lyon (Oscar, Madeline and Des), Brandee Melanson (James). Special thanks to Matt at Green Bucks Christmas Store for lending us our beautiful tree!"
