Supporting young athletes. . .

APF President Walter Michielsens presented a cheque for $1250.00 to Trish Wilcox of the Lambton Shores Lightning Athletic Association.  President elect Fran Bell presented a cheque for $200. The Lambton Shores Lightning are the Ontario Rural Softball Association bantam girls’ champions. They have qualified for the 2019 Youth Softball Nationals to be held in Elizabethtown, Kentucky., in July. The team is in its third year and plays its home games in Arkona. Good luck ladies! We are proud of you and happy to support your efforts.
